Welcome to Porter Logistics Packers And Movers. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at www.porterlogisticspackers.com or booking any of our moving and packing services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Provided

Porter Logistics Packers And Movers offers the following services: home relocation, office moving, packing services, vehicle transport, local moving, long-distance moving and warehousing. All services are subject to availability and are governed by a separate service agreement or booking confirmation.

3. Booking and Payment

• A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written or verbal confirmation from our team.
• Pricing is provided as a quotation and is subject to change if the actual scope of work differs from what was assessed during the pre-move survey.
• An advance payment may be required to confirm the booking date.
• Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move date will receive a full refund of any advance paid.
• Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may incur a 25% cancellation charge.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the move will incur a 50% cancellation charge.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to extreme weather, government restrictions or force majeure events.

5. Customer Responsibilities

• The customer must provide accurate information regarding the volume of items and any fragile or valuable goods.
• Prohibited items (flammable, explosive, illegal substances) must not be included in the consignment.
• A responsible adult must be present at pickup and delivery locations.
• The customer is responsible for preparing appliances (disconnecting gas, emptying water) before the move.

6. Liability and Insurance

Porter Logistics takes utmost care in handling your goods. However, our liability for any damage or loss is limited to the declared value of goods as agreed at the time of booking. We strongly recommend all customers opt for transit insurance coverage, which is available at a nominal additional cost. Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Prohibited Items

We cannot transport: cash, jewellery, important documents, flammable materials, gas cylinders, explosives, perishable foods, live animals, or illegal goods. The customer takes full responsibility for any such items included without our knowledge.

8. Delays

While we strive to deliver on time, Porter Logistics shall not be held liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, government restrictions, road blockages or other circumstances beyond our control.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
